Aquino's sister Pinky to visit Negros June 29 for nutrition project

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III’s sister Pinky Aquino Abellada will visit Bacolod City in Negros Occidental on June 29 to attend the launching of a nutrition program. According to a report of the Visayan Daily Star, Abellada will be the guest of honor at the launching of the Negrense Volunteers for Change (NVC) “Start Right, Live Bright Nutrition Program." The report said NVC president Millie Kilayko informed Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. of Abellada’s visit. The nutrition program aims to provide complementary food that will help infants, toddlers, and young children develop their psychomotor, brain, and cognitive functions, Kilayko said. The NVC’s program partners are the Department of Science and Technology, the Negros Occidental provincial government, and the City of Bago where a production center is located. - VVP, GMA News
