Remains of FVR daughter Jo Ramos lie in state in Parañaque

The remains of music performer and athlete Josephine “Jo" Ramos, daughter of former President Fidel Ramos, currently lie in state at a funeral home in Parañaque City. The singer’s coffin, which has remained closed at the request of former First Lady Amelita Ramos, was brought to the La Funeraria Paz in Sucat on Monday afternoon. The wake will be open to the public until Friday, when the burial is scheduled to take place at the Manila Memorial Park, according to a GMA News TV Flash Report from Mariz Umali. Jo Ramos, 54, succumbed to lung cancer on Monday morning. She is survived by Sergio, her 17-year-old son.
