Mrs. Webb: Vizconde to bring 'lies' to his grave

An emotional Elizabeth Webb, mother of acquitted murder suspect Hubert Webb, on Tuesday aired her grievances over the supposed harassment by her son’s primary accuser in connection with the 1991 Vizconde massacre. “Nananaginip siya talaga," Mrs. Webb said of her son’s accuser Lauro Vizconde in an interview aired on GMA News’ “24 Oras." “He will bring his lies to his grave. I will bring my truth to my grave."

In another interview on “24 Oras," Vizconde said the NBI findings gave him new hope in his quest for justice.

In December, the Supreme Court acquitted Webb and six others accused in the Vizconde massacre case, citing “the failure of the prosecution to rule their guilt beyond reasonable doubt." — With Paterno Esmaquel II/VS, GMA News
