Fire hits DPWH office in Quezon City

Fire of undetermined origin razed a part of the Department of Public Works and Highways compound in Quezon City before dawn Sunday. The fire razed part of the DPWH maintenance division at the compound along NIA Road, according to a report by radio dzBB's Glen Juego. A separate report by dzBB's Roland Bola said the fire started past 4:30 a.m. No one was initially reported injured in the fire, which reached the third alarm. Volunteer firefighter group TXTFire's Twitter account indicated the fire was placed under control around 5:22 a.m. and put out shortly before 6 a.m. — LBG, GMA News
