Hackers claim breaking into Apple's database

Hackers claimed Sunday (Manila time) to have hacked into Apple Inc.'s database, dumping online the data it took from exploiting the website's vulnerability. In a Twitter post, the Anonymous hacktivist group also hinted at Apple itself as a possible target, but not for the moment. "Not being so serious, but well ... Apple could be target, too. But don't worry, we are busy elsewhere," it said. An entry on The Hacker News said the hackers exposed one SQL vulnerability on Apple's domain. The hackers posted the data on Pastebin.com, where they identified the vulnerable site as http://abs.apple.com:8080/ssurvey/survey?id=. Entries on the Pastebin.com site indicated the hackers managed to take the database's users and passwords. Anonymous is the remaining high-profile group involved in AntiSec, an operation it started with now-defunct Lulz Security (LulzSec) to steal data from governments and corporations. - KBK, GMA News
