Google+ iOS app awaits Apple's approval

It may still be testing its upcoming social network, but Google already seems to have submitted a Google+ app to Apple Inc. for approval in its App Store. Tech site CNET quoted a Google "support technician," Erica Joy, as saying the Google+ for iPhone app has been submitted for approval. "For my iPhone using friends: the Google+ iPhone app has been submitted to the App store (no not today, sometime prior to today) and is awaiting approval," it quoted her as saying in her Google+ post. A separate article on Mashable said that Google already has an Android app for Google+ network. Google+ is presently in private beta, with members gaining access only if they have invitations. Yet this did not stop Google+ from gaining much positive buzz. On the other hand, CNET said Google plans to offer a Google+ API that may allow developers to build Google+ apps. — TJD, GMA News
