Biñan police nab suspect in dental clinic robberies

A man suspected as part of a robbery syndicate that victimizes dentists was arrested in Biñan, Laguna, reported GMA News’ “Saksi" newscast Tuesday. Gamboa allegedly entered the clinic with another person, locked it, and declared a “hold up," the report noted. Witnesses reported the suspects left in a car which led to Gamboa’s arrest. Authorities suspected that Gamboa may be tied to a group that victimizes lady dentists. “Hindi rin natin maiaalis na baka ang mga suspect na ito ay maari rin sila ang gumagawa sa mga kaso ng robberies ng dental clinics sa NCR," said Biñan Police Chief Superintendent Leondro Luna. The arresting officers found that Gamboa a 9 mm pistol, an M-16 replica, tampered car plates and police uniforms. The suspect denied any wrongdoing.
