CBCP relaunches online radio


The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) media office has relaunched its CBCP online radio for Filipinos in the country and abroad. According to its news release, the CBCP said new programs will be launched featuring government agencies and personalities knowledgeable in business and politics. Some of the the programs that are scheduled to begin this month are:

  • “Sagot Ko Yan" with the Office of the Civil Registrar General and National Statistics Office;
  • “Batas ng Bayan" with the Public Attorney’s Office; and
  • “Business Bits" with Manila Bulletin Vice President Melito Salazar. Meanwhile, the CBCP claimed its “Visita Iglesia" site for 2011 attracted more than a million Filipinos here and abroad. “During Maundy Thursday alone, the website logged some 143,000 visitors," CBCP spokesman Msgr.
