11 hurt in four-vehicle smashup in Quezon City

At least 11 people suffered minor injuries after a four-vehicle smashup in the Kamias area in Quezon City early Sunday morning. The accident involved two taxis (TXN-999 and UVM-515), a passenger jeep (TWT-258) and a motorcycle (PR-9379), radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported. Motorists and jeepney drivers plying the Cubao-Lagro route were inconvenienced as the accident clogged the corner of Kamias and K-1st Streets. Police are tracking down the driver of the passenger jeep, who fled after the incident. Investigators are still looking into what caused the accident.
