The Department of Public Works and Highways completed 14 bridge projects in Panay Island in the Eastern Visayas region. The DPWH said the bridges are part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)-funded Urgent Bridges Construction Project for Rural Development implemented by the DPWH Presidentâs Bridge Program Office. In a news release posted on its website, the DPWH said the completed bridges include: Antique: the construction of nine single-span reinforced concrete deck girder bridges along Anini-y-Tobias Fornier-Hamtic Road in Antique, including:
