Weather: Thunderstorms possible in Agusan del Sur

The state weather bureau warned Saturday afternoon of possible thunderstorms in parts of Agusan del Sur province in Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said thunderstorms are possible in Bunaguit, Loreto, and Esperanza. PAGASA posted the advisories for Bunaguit and for Loreto and Esperanza on its Twitter account. Earlier, PAGASA said tropical depression “Hanna" had moved out of Philippine territory but may merge with incoming typhoon “Ma-on." The state weather forecaster, however, said “Ma-on" will not likely directly affect any part of the country. “Ma-on" will be codenamed “Ineng" once it enters Philippine territory, likely on Sunday. — JE, GMA News
