1 killed, 12 hurt in Quezon City road accident

One student was killed while 12 others were injured when the vehicle they were riding hit a railing of a flyover in Quezon City before dawn Sunday. The incident occurred at 2 a.m. at the Santolan flyover along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), according to a report on dzBB radio. Sketchy initial reports indicated the victims were students from the Philippine Maritime Institute. The victims were rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.
