400 OFWs in KSA benefit from latest consular mission

Around 400 overseas Filipino workers in Hofuf and Al Hassa in Saudi Arabia benefited from the Philippine Embassy's latest consular mission. The Embassy's outreach consular services was held on July 14 and 15 at Hofuf, a city some 400 kilometers from Riyadh. The next Embassy on Wheels will be in Dammam, Eastern Region on July 21 and 22 at the Aljazeera International School in Dammam, Eastern Region. "The six members of Embassy on Wheels Team left for Hofuf, Eastern Region on 13 July 2011. The consular services were held at the Hotel Al Ghazal, Hofuf, Eastern Region," the Embassy said in a news release. Charge d'affaires Ezzedin Tago thanked the community leaders and volunteers in Hofuf who helped the Embassy consular team. The Embassy team led by Consul Mohd. Noordin Pendosina Noor Lomondot brought e-passports to the city, encoding some 394 e-passport applications and processing 13 notarials. It also processed eight reports of birth, and 12 passports amendments and extension. - VVP, GMA News
