4 Pinoys jailed in Canada for fake passports

Four Filipinos were sentenced to three months in jail for entering into Canada with fake passports, according to a report. Richmond Provincial Court’s Judge Rosemary Gallagher on July 13 rendered the verdict against Olivia Castillo dela Cruz, Michale Bacani, Cecilio Mercado Gocoyo, and Flora Valencia Bernabe. The Philippine Asian News Today said the four Filipinos pleaded guilty to violating Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
