Garci denies knowledge of alleged ‘04 poll fraud

Amid fresh calls for the investigation of the alleged fraud in the 2004 elections, former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano denied knowledge of poll cheating anew, GMA News’ “24 Oras" newscast reported Thursday. Garcillano told GMA News that the Comelec should answer questions on the alleged poll fraud instead, adding that he is now a private citizen who prefers to keep a quiet life.
