NDRRMC identifies fatalities in Pampanga plane crash


The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Saturday named the fatalities in Friday’s plane crash in Pampanga. In a report posted on its website, the NDRRMC identified the two as:

  • Tian Yu Wong, 22, pilot, and
  • Alfred Christian de Leon, 28.
According to the NDRRMC, Tian was a Malaysian and a transient resident of Omni Aviation in Angeles CIty in Pampanga, while De Leon was a resident of New York Street in Angeles City. Initial investigation showed the two died after the two-seater Cessna 152 aircraft (RPC-8839) crashed on a farm owned by Virgilio Antonio in Sitio Talimundok, Sta. Maria, Magalang, Pampanga. The victims’ remains were brought to Malaguena Funeral Parlor in Magalang. The NDRRMC said the crash damaged P30,000 in property. Village captain Alexander Santos was requested to secure the plane debris until after the probe is finished. — JE, GMA News
