US diplomat, soldier hurt in Taguig motorcycle accident

An American diplomat and a soldier were hurt after their motorcycles figured in an accident in Taguig City on Sunday night, police said. Navy 2nd Lieutenant Wyler Urmaneta was driving his Honda Wave motorcycle along Lawton Avenue in Fort Bonifacio at 6:30 p.m. Sunday when it crashed into the BMW big bike of US Diplomat Political Officer Alan Paul Holmes on board, a report from the Southern Police District (SPD) said. Both Urmaneta and Holmes obtained injuries due to the accident and were brought to the Naval hospital for treatment.
