PNoy convenes Cabinet hours before SONA

Hours before he delivers his second State of the Nation Address, President Benigno Aquino III on Monday morning met his Cabinet in Malacanang. Among those present during the meeting which started around 10 a.m. were Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr., Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima and Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo. Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo, Transportation Secretary Manuel Roxas II and Presidential Communications Operations head Herminio Coloma also attended the meeting. President Aquino is expected to arrive at the Batasan Pambansa Complex in Quezon City around 3:30 p.m. to deliver his second SONA before a joint session of Congress at 4 p.m. — Amita Legaspi/RSJ, GMA News
