Classes in UST, UP Manila suspended starting at noon Tuesday

Classes in at two major universities in Manila were ordered suspended starting noon on Tuesday, after heavy rain fell on Metro Manila. In a Twitter message, the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila said classes and offices there are suspended starting noon. "Classes and offices at UP Manila are suspended starting at 12:00 p.m. today (July 26)," it said. A separate report on dzBB radio said afternoon classes at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila were suspended due to heavy rain. Another dzBB report said afternoon classes were suspended in Cainta town in Rizal provinces, also due to the heavy rain. - VVP, GMA News
