Bus slams onto house, eatery in QC

Less than 24 hours after a bus fell off the Skyway in southern Metro Manila, another passenger bus figured in an accident on Tuesday night and slammed onto a house and eatery in Quezon City. No one was reported injured in the accident in Quezon City, which the driver blamed on slippery road conditions as it had been raining heavily in Metro Manila, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday. The initial investigation showed that the accident occurred at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Pasong Putik village, Lagro, Quezon City. The bus had no passengers as it was already heading to its garage at the time of the accident. Earlier on Tuesday, at least three people were killed after a bus fell off the Skyway in southern Metro Manila. Metro Manila was one of the areas placed under Storm Signal No. 2 due to tropical storm "Juaning" (international name: Nock-Ten). - VVP, GMA News
