Newspaper publication no longer needed for lost passports in KSA


Filipinos in Saudi Arabia who lose their passports no longer need to publish the loss in a local newspaper, the Philippine Embassy there said. The Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia said the policy, which is part of its efforts to streamline its services, took effect on July 26. In a news release posted on its website Friday, the embassy listed requirements in applying for the replacement of the lost passport: 1.Police Report (with English translation). 2.Affidavit of Loss. 3.Copy of lost passport (if available). 4.Duly accomplished passport application form (no photo needed). 5.Personal appearance - VVP, GMA News
