Cebu Pacific cancels 2 Manila, Bicol flights due to bad weather

Citing bad weather conditions, air carrier Cebu Pacific canceled at least two flights between Manila and Bicol on Monday. In an announcement on its Facebook page, the carrier said the canceled flights include 5J-323 (Manila to Legazpi) and 5J-324 (Legazpi to Manila). "Affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. You may also rebook within 30 days of cancellation or Travel Funds without penalties," Cebu Pacific said. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier warned of rain on the western sections of Luzon and Visayas, which may trigger flash floods and landslides. Parts of the country presently face threats of monsoon rain from typhoon "Kabayan" and tropical depression "Lando." "We always place top priority in your safety; thank you for your understanding. Please do stay tuned for more developments!" Cebu Pacific said. - VVP, GMA News
