Fire hits PNP gym in Camp Crame

Fire of undetermined origin hit the sports center of the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame in Quezon City early Tuesday. No one was initially reported injured in the fire, which started past 6 a.m. and was placed under control at 7:02 a.m., radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported. An initial investigation showed the fire started at the right side of the gymnasium and damaged several areas. Tuesday morning's fire marred the 20th anniversary of the Bureau of Fire Protection, the report said. Arson investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire. — RSJ, GMA News
