DepEd: Classes suspended in San Carlos City, Pangasinan

Classes were suspended in San Carlos City in Pangasinan province on Wednesday due to heavy rain, the Department of Education (DepEd) said. On its Twitter account, the DepEd said the provincial government suspended classes from kindergarten to high school there. "Region 1: San Carlos City - Due to continuous rainfall, the Provincial Government suspended classes from Kinder to Highschool today, Aug 3," it said. Earlier on Wednesday, the DepEd said classes in Metro Manila and most of Central and Southern Luzon had resumed, a day after heavy rain forced the suspension of classes on Tuesday. However, classes in Rosario town in Cavite - including college - were also suspended Wednesday morning due to heavy rain. - VVP, GMA News
