German diplomat to hold bilateral talks with PHL

A high ranking German diplomat is set to visit Manila this Friday for talks with local officials and businessmen, according to a statement from the German Embassy on Thursday. Dr. Werner Hoyer, Minister of State of the Federal Foreign office will be holding bilateral talks during his Friday visit. He is also set to meet with Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary Mar Roxas. Hoyer will also meet CEOs of Philippine-based German companies and members of the German Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to the German Embassy, Hoyer is the highest ranking German diplomat to visit Philippine shores "in the last years." — BC/VS, GMA News
