MMDA: Taxi catches fire in Makati

A taxi caught fire in Makati City Saturday afternoon, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said. The MMDA said the incident occurred at 5:25 p.m. In a feed on its Twitter account, the MMDA posted a photo showing the taxi on fire on the northbound portion of Buendia. A separate tweet by fire volunteer group TXTFire said the incident occurred near EDSA-Ayala Makati. There was no indication of whether there were injuries. — JE, GMA News
