PNoy seeks promotion of lady cop in counterattack vs NPA

President Benigno Aquino III on Monday ordered the immediate promotion of Inspector Charity Galvez to senior inspector for leading the defense against the attack of New People's Army. Aquino asked Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo why Galvez has not been promoted amid her "conspicous courage and gallantry in action". "Matanong ko lang si Kalihim Jesse Robredo, Inspector Charity? Parang bago yung insidente inspector na siya, maganda yung ginawa niya inspector pa rin," he said in his speech during the 110th service anniversary of the Philippine National Police.
