Fire hits Quezon City residential area

A fire of undetermined origin hit a residential area in the Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City before noon on Wednesday. No one was reported hurt in the fire that razed several houses made of light materials, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.

The report said the fire started at the corner of Road 1 and Road 8 shortly after 10:00 a.m. and reached the fifth alarm. Fireefighters rushed to the site and put the fire under control shortly before 11:00 a.m. Arson investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire. â€” VVP, GMA News
