Pinoy dance crew in California wows YouTube viewers

A group of Filipino youths based in Oxnard City in California in the United States is making the Philippines proud by sharing their talent for dancing over the Internet. The Emanon Dance Crew has extended its reach by teaming up with High Define Koncepts to produce short dance films on website YouTube. “Emanon is directed by dancer and choreographer Byron Bucao and is comprised of kids from all over the Oxnard area," said a profile on the crew on the World of Dance website, which described the Filipino dancers as “young and talented." The World of Dance profile on the group also noted its short film on YouTube “shot straight to No. 1 on the [favorited] list and has had over 41,000 hits in its first three days." Emanon bagged the junior champions title in this year’s World of Dance, the largest international urban dance competition, according to the website.
