Report: Pinay domestic helper missing in Singapore

A Filipino domestic helper working in Singapore has gone missing after claiming someone is out to kill her, a news site reported this week. The Filipino, identified as Agnes Mandado, 32, escaped from her employer earlier this month, according to a report on Kabayan Weekly. The report quoted Mandado’s relative as saying her employer even placed a surveillance camera inside the bathroom to keep tabs on her. After fleeing from her employer’s house, Mandado went to the office of her recruitment agency in Singapore and to the Philippine embassy there. She also called her sibling in the Philippines to say she was at the embassy. However, she left again at the embassy last Wednesday. — JE, GMA News
