Total to cut fuel prices Sunday morning


Independent oil player Total Philippines Corp. will cut the prices of its fuel products starting 6 a.m. Sunday, according to GMA News’ “Flash Report." The oil firm said it will slash the prices of its diesel by P2.25 per liter, unleaded gasoline by P2 per liter, and regular gasoline by P1.50 per liter. Two independent oil players — Eastern Petroleum and Flying V Philippines — had earlier announced their price cuts effective Saturday. Eastern Petroleum slashed the prices of its diesel by P1.50 per liter and gasoline by P1.30 per liter. Flying V Philippines lowered the prices of its unleaded gasoline by P1.30 a liter, regular gasoline by P1 a liter, and diesel and kerosene by P1.50 a liter. — JE/VS, GMA News
