PHL Embassy to conduct consular outreach in Orlando, Florida


Philippine officials in the United States will conduct a consular outreach service in Orlando (Florida) on October 1 and 2, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said. In a news release, the DFA said the outreach will be held on the following days:

  • October 1: From 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and
  • October 2: from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. “The consular services with be held at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown, 60 South Ivanhoe Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32804," it said. It said the Embassy’s consular team will accept and process applications for electronic passport (e-Passport), notarization of documents, and registration of births and marriages Passport applicants will not be required to bring photographs since they will have their pictures taken using e-Passport data capturing machines at the outreach site. However, they have to bring other requirements, including:
  • current passport
  • a photocopy of the data page of the passport
  • passport application form
  • An application fee of $60.00 (in cash or money order). Applicants who wish to change their name from single to married name are required to apply for a Report of Marriage (ROM). Oath-taking The outreach program will also include an oath-taking ceremony on October 1 for those who will reacquire their Filipino citizenship under the Dual Citizenship Law.
