PHL execs in Malaysia campaign for overseas absentee voting

Philippine officials in Malaysia are encouraging Filipinos there to register as overseas absentee voters (OAVs) for the 2013 elections. The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur requested Filipino community leaders to spread information about the OAV registration which will start on October 31 this year and end on October 31 next year. "The Embassy continues to intensify its OAV campaign and will embark on a roadshow to meet as many Filipinos as possible in Malaysia," the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said. According to the Embassy, it would announce the OAV registration at the Filipino Workers Resource Center (FWRC) during classes every other Sunday until the end of the registration period. - VVP, GMA News
