Apple releases 7th beta for iOS5


Apple Inc. released to developers this week the seventh beta of its upcoming iOS 5 operating system for mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. The latest beta was seeded to developers for testing, according to a report posted on the site of Apple enthusiast site Boy Genius Reports (BGR). It said the list of changes covered includes:

A separate article on tech site CNET said the list indicates the release contains mainly bug fixes from previous versions of the software. The CNET article also said the list indicates the new beta contains additions to Apple's Xcode and user interface building tools. "In other words, the nitty-gritty things developers are likely to enjoy, but not the things to excite consumers looking for the addition of new features," it said.— LBG, GMA News
