PNoy to new Ateneo president: Wait for my kids to study here

He may have zero love life, but it seems like President Benigno Aquino III is still dreaming of having his own children in the future. This became apparent Thursday when, during the administration of oath of office of the new Ateneo de Manila University president, Aquino said he wants his future kids to study in the university, his alma mater. Father Jett is Father Jose Ramon Villarin, the 30th president of the Ateneo de Manila University. “Maitanim din sa kanila, sa aking mga magiging anak, sa puso’t isipan ang pagiging tunay na man for others," Aquino said. Aquino said he believes that under Villarin’s term, Ateneans will be more active in serving the people. He even joked that Villarin, as Ateneo president, will also be facing the same problems and responsibilities as he is. He said the only difference between him and Villarin is that he will be leaving the post in 2016 while Villarin will stay as Ateneo president beyond that. “Ang pagkakaiba lang siguro ako ay may nakikita nang four years and nine months, hanggang 2016 lang ang aking termino at makakaalis na ako sa purgatoryo. Habang si Father Jett na aral kay Father Ben (Bienvenido Nebres, Ateneo’s immediate past president) ay susundan ang kanyang mga yapak at siguro naman pwedeng higitan yung 18 years ni Father Ben," Aquino said. — KBK, GMA News
