Ratings ni Aquino sa Pulse Asia, mataas pa rin

MANILA – Nananatiling mataas ang approval at trust ratings ni Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy" Aquino III batay sa survey ng isinagawa ng Pulse Asia sa kabila ng mga problemang kinakaharap ng bansa. Sa ulat ng Pulse Asia nitong Huwebes, nakakuha si Aquino ng 77 percent approval rating at 75 percent trust rating, sa survey na isinagawa noong Agosto 20 hanggang Setyembre 2. Ang naturang marka ay hindi naiba sa nakuhang 75 percent trust rating ni Aquino noong Marso at mas mataas naman sa 71 percent na nakuha nito noong Mayo. "While President Aquino's overall approval and trust ratings go up by 6 and 4 percentage points respectively, between May and August 2011, these changes fall short of being significant given the survey's overall error margin of +/- 3 percentage points," paliwanag ng Pulse Asia. Lumilitaw na halos isa lamang sa 10 Pilipino ang hindi nasisiyahan sa trabaho at hindi nagtitiwala sa pangulo. "Ambivalence toward the work done by President Aquino in the past three months is expressed by 18 percent of Filipinos while essentially the same percentage (19 percent) cannot say if they trust or distrust him. In general, these figures do not vary significantly from the national ratings obtained by the President in Pulse Asia’s May 2011 survey," idinagdag sa survey. 'Di nagbabago ang suporta Sa isang pahayag nitong Huwebes, ikinatuwa ng Malacanang ang pinakabagong resulta ng survey na nagpapakita na hindi nagbabago ang pagtitiwala ng publiko sa liderato ni Aquino. “The message is getting across to the vast majority of Filipinos: President Aquino’s ratings are proof that his efforts toward curbing corruption and reducing poverty are truly being felt by Filipinos across all geographic and demographic strata," nakasaad sa pahayag ni presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda. “It is expected that survey numbers will fluctuate, and while we in government appreciate this development, we continue to raise the bar higher for ourselves so that every aspect of the President’s Social Contract with the Filipino People will be fulfilled," dagdag pa niya. Nang panahon na isinagawa ang survey, kabilang sa mga usapin na mainit na pinag-uusapan ay: 1. Ang ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Aquino; 2. Imbestigasyon ng Senado tungkol sa biniling helicopters ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at pagkakasangkot dito ni dating First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo; 3. Ang medical condition ni dating Pangulo at ngayo'y Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo at kanyang mister na si Jose Miguel; 4. Ang paglutang ng mga testigo tungkol sa umano'y dayaan noong 2004 at 2007 elections; 5. Ang pakikipagpulong ni Aquino sa mga lider ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF); 6. Ang pagbibitiw sa puwesto ni dating Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri at Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim at balitang pagtanggal kay Customs Commissioner Angelito Alvarez; 7. Patuloy na debate sa Reproductive Health (RH) bill; 8. Pagtaas ng kaso ng dengue sa Metro Manila at iba pang bahagi ng bansa; 9. Ang pinsalang idinulot ng bagyong "Mina"; 10.
