Philippine Airlines: Shamcey arriving home Sunday

Less than a week after her third runner-up finish in the Miss Universe beauty pageant, Philippine beauty queen Shamcey Supsup is returning to the Philippines early Sunday. Flag carrier Philippine Airlines said "Shamcey is due to arrive in Manila on September 18 on board Philippine Airlines flight PR103." Flight tracking site Flightaware.com indicated PR-103 is to arrive in Manila before dawn Sunday. PAL also noted Supsup "is also Ms. Philippine Airlines 2011." The Makati City government has prepared a ticker-tape parade for Supsup, who studied in its public school, the Makati High School. Supsup, born on May 16, 1986 in General Santos City, is a licensed architect who topped the Architecture Licensure Examination in July 2010 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. — LBG, GMA News
