Police: 6-vehicle smashup disrupts traffic in Cavite

A six-vehicle smashup disrupted traffic along the Coastal Road Extension in Bacoor town in Cavite early on Monday, the police said. PO2 Rico Hermoso of the Cavite police said the smashup happened after the tire of an Asian utility vehicle burst, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. "Pumasok siya sa kabilang lane at nagkarambola," Hermoso said in an interview on dzBB radio. No one was seriously injured in the incident, he said.
