Suspected victims of summary execution found in QC

Police in Quezon City are investigating the circumstances behind the gruesome death of two men whose bodies were found in the La Loma district before dawn Thursday. The two victims were not immediately identified and bore signs of torture and strangulation, according to a report on radio dzBB. Both bodies were found along Calavite Street in San Isidro Labrador village in La Loma at 1 a.m. The two were described as between 18 to 25 years old.

Inspector Ronald Mendoza, leader of the Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) team, said the two had concrete nails embedded in their heads. Mendoza said the two also bore signs of strangulation. He said they suspect the two were killed elsewhere and then dumped in La Loma. — RSJ, GMA News
