Apple seeds latest OSX Lion build to developers

Apple Inc. released this week another new build of its OS X Lion to developers, with features for its upcoming iCloud services bundled into the latest build. Tech site The Next Web said OS X 10.7.2 build 11C62 comes just five days after the previous version, and is the third to have the iCloud features bundled right into it. It said the inclusion of iCloud features “indicates that they are approaching the point where they consider iCloud to be fit to release." Apple is having developers test iCloud features like integration with iOS devices and iWork apps as well as their own third-party apps. “The pace of these updates seems to be increasing as they are coming at the rate of at least one per week now. The last update to OS X Lion and iCloud for Mac came on the 16th while the previous version came on the 11th," it said. The iCloud for Lion is to integrate with the features of iCloud.com including Find My iPhone, Mail, Calendars and iWork. On the other hand, iOS 5 - the next major OS for iPhone, iPod, Apple TV and iPad devices - is slated for release this fall. — TJD, GMA News
