Classes in Marikina, Malabon, Navotas still suspended Wednesday

Classes will remain suspended in Marikina Malabon and Navotas Cities on Wednesday, a day after typhoon "Pedring" lashed Luzon, but the Department of Education said it will make announcements for other areas in Metro Manila at 4 a.m. Wednesday. The DepEd made the announcement on Tuesday through its official Twitter account.

DepEd said classes at the kindergarten, elementary and high school level will resume on Wednesday in the Cagayan Valley region, except for Nueva Vizcaya. "Classes will resume tomorrow, Sept 28, except in Nueva Vizcaya where classes will remain suspended for kinder, elementary & high school," DepEd also said. Classes in the Ilocos region will remain suspended Wednesday as many areas there are still under Storm Signal No. 3. — ELR/VS, GMA News
