Chris Tiu blogs about his FIBA-Asia experience

You're about to take a business class seat back to heartbreak city. Back to the unforgettable days in Wuhan. Back to two consecutive losses which will, right or wrong, define a program. Back to the team activities people never saw. Back to the very start of the Gilas initiative. And as what happens to most great journeys, it goes by real fast. Too fast. Three years go by like a flash. The quest ends abruptly on a basketball court in China with bonds forged, dreams unfulfilled and a vision which should be sustained. There is no happy resolution here. Only the promise of one if you care to look real hard. In two personal entries, Gilas skipper Chris Tiu shares the joy of the total Gilas experience, the pain of not meeting his own expectations and the disappointment brought about by sad endings to great stories.
