Virus removal site serves malware instead

Instead of removing viruses as it claims to do, a United Kingdom-based virus removal site has been compromised and is now doing the opposite: serving malware. Visitors to virus removal service website laptopvirusrepair.co.uk are now at risk of getting the JavaScript malware Blacold.psak, The Hacker News reported. “It is an obfuscated iframe that redirects to a site that will deliver exploits: zdesestvareznezahodi.com/tds/go.php?sid=1," The Hacker News said. Affected platforms include versions of Microsoft’s Windows from Windows 95 to Windows 7. The Hacker News said the JS/Blacole.psak JavaScript virus can be used to execute malicious code and drive-by downloads. — TJD, GMA News
