Crews rushing to restore EDSA MRT to full ops

Technical crews of the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) are rushing to restore the whole EDSA MRT 3 line before the trains' start of scheduled runs Sunday morning. "Repair and testing works will continue all night with the objective of restoring MRT3 full line operation tomorrow morning at 5:30," Light Rail Transit Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera said via Twitter Saturday evening. Cabrera said LRTA's "technicians are trying their best" to solve the problems that affected the signaling system from the North Avenue station to the Shaw station.
