EDSA MRT 3 cleared to resume full ops Sunday

The EDSA MRT 3 line will resume full operation after the MRT 3 Control Center revealed that the signaling problem of the line segment from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard was fixed, the agency spokesman, Atty. Hernando Cabrera said Sunday morning. Technical crews of the LRTA worked since Saturday afternoon to restore the whole EDSA MRT 3 line before the trains' start of scheduled runs Sunday at 5:30 a.m.

Line 3 operations were suspended at 10:50 a.m. Saturday due to "power failure affecting the automatic signalling system," Cabrera said Saturday. — ELR, GMA News
