Five oil firms roll back fuel prices


Five oil firms rolled back Monday the prices of their products, citing lower world prices of oil. Radio dzBB reported that Shell, Eastern Petroleum and Seaoil rolled back prices of their products shortly after midnight Sunday. Petron and Unioil followed suit at 6 a.m., the report said. The five oil firms rolled back prices of gasoline by P1.20/liter; diesel by P1/liter; and kerosene by 80 centavos per liter. Also last weekend, Shell and Petron brought down the prices of their liquefied petroleum gas by P1.25/kilo or P13.75 per 11-kg tank. — RSJ, GMA News
