Google brings 'Dynamic Views' to Blogger

Search giant Google's Blogger blog service received a makeover of sorts Tuesday with "Dynamic Views," a new set of Blogger templates. Product Marketing Manager Peter Harbison said the templates aim to make it easier and faster for readers to explore blogs. "Dynamic Views is a unique browsing experience that makes it easier and faster for readers to explore blogs in interactive ways. We’re using the Classic view, but you can also preview this blog in any of the other six new views by using the view selection bar at the top left of the screen," he said in a blog post. The other views in the list include:

• Timecard view, where blogs can be sorted by recent, date, label, or author
• Magazine view
• Mosaic view
• Sidebar view, where blog titles are in a sidebar
• Snapshot view, where blog entries are arranged in thumbnails

Harrison encouraged bloggers and visitors to send feedback using the “Send feedback" link on the bottom right of the page. "If you like what you see here, and we hope you do, we encourage you to try out the new look(s) on your own blog," he added. — TJD, GMA News
