Anong #OrasNa para sa inyo?

Everyday, we rush to keep up with the fast pace of modern life. There are bills to pay, deadlines to meet, and appointments to keep. But how often do we stop to think about the deadlines facing the planet? At the rate that humans are currently consuming the earth's natural resources-- including water, forests, seafood, and fossil fuels-- experts believe it may just be a matter of decades before these run out. To help Filipino viewers better understand some of the most pressing deadlines facing the planet, GMA News and Public Affairs has produced a special documentary called "Oras Na" that will air on November 20, 2011 at 10:30 P.M. [Read more about the documentary here.] Following the success of the multi-awarded documentaries "Signos," "Planet Philippines," and "Wildlife for Sale," this will be the fourth environmental documentary hosted by actor Richard Gutierrez for GMA News and Public Affairs. Before "Oras Na" airs this November 20, viewers are encouraged to use the hashtag #OrasNa to Tweet about some of the everyday things they will do to save the planet. The profile pictures of those who use the hastag will automatically appear in the Twitter mosaic below. Humanity may be running out of time to act to save the earth, but there are plenty of things ordinary people can do in their daily lives to change the situation. "Oras Na!" airs this November 20, 10:30 p.m. on GMA-7.
