Cops raid 'fake' presidential office in QC

Police on Sunday morning raided an office in Quezon City that claimed to be an extension office of the Office of the President. Held for questioning was a group of supposed officials of the "Presidential Regional Assistance Monitoring Services," radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported. The raid on the office along Road 1 in Pag-asa village stemmed from claims it is affiliated with President Benigno Aquino III. Police are verifying complaints the group claimed to have documents signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. The group also allegedly issued ID cards to "members," the report quoted an initial information reaching Quezon City authorities as saying. So far, the report said the police could find no connection between the office and Malacañang. — LBG, GMA News
