Ex-seaman cuts off his organ after killing wife in Capiz

A former seaman who is reportedly suffering from a nervous breakdown, cut off his organ and tried to kill himself after murdering his wife in Capiz province over the weekend. The Iloilo affiliate of radio dzBB reported on Monday that the 39-year-old husband allegedly strangled his 38-year-old wife in Pagbunitan village, Sigma town in Capiz. The report said the former seaman suffered a breakdown after failing to take his medication. He was brought to a hospital in Roxas City. A separate report on Radyo Mo Nationwide-Roxas said the police recovered knives from the scene of the incident. - VVP, GMA News
